Super Moon, Super Emotions

ID-10092935Hello Super Moon!

As many of you know, today we have one of three Super Moons this year. These full moons are closer to the earth and appear big and beautiful in the sky. Tonight’s full moon is the closest of the Super Moons this year.

Kari Samuels – Astrology and Numerology Goddess says that “Full moons are a time where the light of your consciousness shines on your emotions so they can be processed. Any feelings you have buried or denied will be brought to the surface to be released and healed.”

I don’t know about you, but I have had a pretty emotional week. I have felt very scattered, unmotivated, sad, heartbroken and frozen in fear. I feel like my feet are in deep sand and I cannot seem to get them out to move forward.

I feel a bit stuck.

I am all about controlling my emotions and I practice gratitude on a daily basis; however, I am also aware that I am a HUMAN BEING. Just like the moon changes and has different stages, so do we as human beings. It is not normal or healthy to be happy, upbeat, positive, inspirational and excellent at all times.

THAT IS NOT REAL!

REAL….or HUMAN has its ups and downs, its challenges and its wins, its ebbs and its flows, its sadness and joy.

I know I will feel more empowered and be able to move forward next week, because I trust in the cycle of life. I know that when the tide goes out, it always come back in again. And with each time it does, it brings fresh new insight, inspiration and growth within my heart and soul.

So for today I will not beat myself up. I will not judge my feelings. I will just allow them and trust they are pushing me forward to a new understanding and a better life.

  1. Diane,

Your posting is, as usual, timely. Very timely. I caught myself staring at the beautiful moon last night and for absolutely no reason I just started to cry. I had a very tough week emotionally but I know that this is temporary. Like you said, trusting in the cycle will mean sunshine after rain.

May next week be a better week for you. This too shall pass.

    Kelly

    • So glad the words resonated with you so that you did not feel alone Kelly. From early comments on social media this is a emotionally transformative time for many. Cheers to a better week ahead. xo
