What is YOUR story? Who are YOU? What is YOUR life journey all about?

My book says: I am an author, professional speaker, spiritual and life coach, animal loss and grief counselor, student and teacher of Peruvian Shamanism and Kundalini yoga teacher (RYT 500). I am a raw vegan food enthusiast and nutrition coach, seeker of truth, animal rights advocate, supporter of women in technology, and owner of Vegan Dog Treats and Angel Dog Productions. As a former Auto Executive from Detroit, I hold an MBA in Technology Management. I am Certified in Transpersonal Psychology at the Masters Level, have a BA in Communications, and a degree in Graphic Design and Commercial Art. I live on Maui, Hawaii with my fiancé Patrick, our English Bulldog and Chinese Shar Peis.
  
What has been YOUR biggest challenge or life obstacle that YOU feel has dimmed YOUR GLOW?

It started with the death of a dog and ended with the death of 4 more dogs and several family members and friends. It continued to get trying for me as I went through divorce and my father got cancer. But, what complicated my situation more was that I sought out spiritual teachings for my healing and it opened up my psychic awareness and confounded my depression when my visual experiences became intensified. I saw death before it happened, spent time with angels and ET’s, empathetically felt and experienced others and their pain, and saw people’s pain. I began to see that my psychic awareness differentiated me from my family and friends and had nowhere to turn for help. It took much internal work to come to peace with it and I was forced to get to know myself… befriend myself. I found ways to deal with the pain and loss of all that I had once known and start a new life FOR ME!

How have YOU grown as a woman in the last year? What lessons, insights or ah-ha moments have you had?

Once I got through the most severe depression periods of my life I knew that I could conquer anything. I knew that never again in my life was it EVER going to be as hard as it was. I found peace within through meditation and self reflection. I began to see miracles in my life when I chose to live it. I was too chicken to take my life and I figured I better “buck up” and just get on with the life I had been given – knowing that I CHOSE TO BE HERE! I wrote my book to share my story in hopes of healing and maybe I would just help one person. I’ve now realized I’ve helped many! I tear up knowing that my journey and my pain could ever enlighten the path of another! After I wrote my book I started my own Graphic Design company (Angel Dog Productions) to help other people write their book and share their story. I specialize in book layout design (exterior and interior layouts). I love to read people’s stories as I lay out their book and I know that we all have challenges – they just come in different flavors and at different times in our lives.

What else do YOU want to share with the YOU GLOW GIRL!® Community?

When we are faced with a challenge in our lives we MUST understand that it is the power of our mind to will a different outcome. The thing is, we are here to have the human experience. We chose to come here and chose to forget our spiritual connection for the growth of our soul. We planned this life as a smart spiritual being! We chose our family and friends and mapped out our life path for our souls growth before we came here! Yeah, sometimes that SUCKS to think about, but when we can separate our story from the drama and trauma and stand in faith the their is a power greater than us that is helping us get out of bed, raise our legs and walk the path we so divinely chose we can get through it. I’ve learned that all relationships on earth will NEVER be what our soul knows as true love because that true love is with THE ONE that created us. All earthly relationships and stories are for our growth. It’s up to us to choose the healthy relationships and hold hands with those here on earth that guide us and help us on our earthly mission.
