GLOWING Life Make Over

When I tell people I am a Leadership and Life Design Coach they nod and then quickly transition to a bit of a blank look. What I do with my corporate leadership clients is pretty clear. We look at their business objectives, develop strategies, remove barriers and I provide accountability to help set them up for success. People understand the Leadership Coach part well as we generally understand business has processes to achieve successful outcomes. However, are there processes to design lives? This is where the brave ones say, “hmmm, what is a Life Design Coach?”

I help people design the life their hearts are longing to live. Confused? You are not alone. What does that mean? You might ask – Am I not living the life my heart desires now?  I have a career; I have a home, a husband and two kids. That’s what I wanted. But most of us are still searching on some level. Searching to find more balance in our lives. Or we might feel happy but have a niggling feeling that there is something more to discover – something more meaningful to this thing we call life.

Let me give you an analogy. People LOVE to redesign their homes. It is such a gratifying experience to take something that may be working on some levels and make it better. There is nothing better than those before and after pictures. What might have been a fully functioning room of your home always feels AMAZING after you complete a renovation!

Think about the process. You start by deciding the room could benefit from a renovation. You visualize what you want the outcome to look like. You search for ideas on Pinterest and in Style at Home magazine. You spend hours becoming one with paint color chips. You shop for the perfect accessories. Depending on the size and scope of the renovation you may need to call in the experts – an interior designer or a contractor. When your renovation is completed and the final throw pillow is perfectly in place, it feels almost MAGICAL. There is so much satisfaction and pleasure you could stay forever in your newly designed room.

Think of me as the Interior Designer for your life rather than your home. You might have a perfectly functioning life, but after we work together and you fully understand, create and implement a new vision you will be on your way to feeling FABULOUS – almost MAGICAL, just like that freshly redesigned room. If a newly renovated room feels so great, imagine what a newly revitalized YOU will feel like. You will GLOW!
